November 4, 2013 FAMily!!!! how is everyone?! I hope all is well! This has been a CRAZY week!!!! First, F. IS ON DATE!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! I'm so happy! she said that she would be baptized on December 28 if she knew that this church was right by then! and I told her that She will know, and God will answer her! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway! we have some crazy awesome elders in our mission they keep giving us referrals!!! ITS THE BESTTTT!!!!! ahaha :) so this week! we had zone meeting! Where i ate a whole red pepper! there is a video that sister kramer has, i'll send it to you someday! anyway! it was the hottest thing i have ever had in my life! Although i'm super used to spicy foods now! haha :) anyway! so we had Clayton Christensen come speak to us! it was amazing because it was like we were in one of his classes at Harvard! but it was spiritual haha :) anyway! we talked about how we can get the ward members more involved in missionary work! IT WAS AMAZING! i loved every second of it! and i urge EACH OF YOU!!!!!!! to please! 1) pray to Heavenly Father to lead you to a friend you can share the gospel with 2) DO IT!!!!! 3) invite the missionaries over to your home with that friend, and let the missionaries teach them! SERIOUSLY! WE MISSIONARIES CAN NOT DO THIS WORK WITHOUT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! alright :) there is my challenge haha :) anyway! random fact! i made my comp try a PB&J sandwich and she hateddddd it! haha so our focus this zone conference was to OYM (open your mouth). open your mouth and talk to everyone!!!! it was sSOOOOOO good! i felt the spirit hit me like a ton of bricks!!! it was seriously amazing! i love that feeling! we later ran into W. in Chinatown which was pretty cool! he has been meeting with the sister who referred him from temple square, so we will see how that goes!!! :) It has been raining like crazy here!!! it's starting to become rainy season! OH MY GOODNESS! it rains so much, it floods the streets. haha its actually really cool! :) anyway! AC!!! I love her so so much! she was so close to being on date! she knows the importance of baptism :) WE love her and she just needs to get to church :) she is so cute! she gave me a Chinese learning book so that i can learn Chinese, haha :) it was really sweet! Elder Moore and I have been able to help give each other good ideas because we are both training people, mine from china (his is from Taiwain) it's actually been very very helpful! :) we met with F. and taught her the first lesson! next time Fa. is going to follow us, so she can have a member to relate to! it's going to be AMAZING!!! i'm so excited! we love her so much! she is so good! S. is struggling! she has been sick and working a lot so she has only been able to come to church on Sunday, but we are meeting with her next Thursday and have been calling her everyday! She just needs a lot of support and prayers! :) yesterday, we met with a referral from the Chinese program elders! her name is S.S. and she became a new investigator!!! SHE IS THE BEST!!!! so open, and told us she really felt the spirit! she described it as a warm feeling in her heart! It was amazing needless to say! We love her and she is for sure going to be baptized!!! :) we then went to the Lims home for a YSA get together where i shared a very cool message about the armor of God, standing in holy places, and opening your mouth! it was nice! i used the orange trick (orange with the peel on floats in water, without peel it sinks ) anyway! that was our week! It was very difficult i snapped once, but i have been really learning and praying for patience! I have been trying to love her, and find ways to serve her. It's very hard, i get very annoyed, very easily! BUT! I always remember God loves her, so I love her! and then I do something to try and serve her! It's getting better, it's going to be very hard, but it's going to be very worth it! :) Missions are supposed to be hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are allowed to go through 1 token of the numerous tokens Christ went through for us! It's hard, but that’s how we become like him! anyway!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss you!!!!!! but i feel your prayers, they give me strength!
