November 18, 2013 HELLO FAM!!!!!!!!!!! How is everyone?! Everything here is pretty good! We had a pretty great week! It was kind of crazy!!!!!!!! haha but! Anyway! I loveeee the e-mails everyone has been sending! They seriously come at the perfect time and lift my spirits!!! This week has been a little difficult, my patience has been tested and I have spent a lot of time on my knees! BUT! It’s great because that means even though Satan is hitting hard, something amazing is going to come of it! :) Well! Last Monday we went to a science museum for Pday! Got in for FREE! WHOOT! Free things in Singapore just don’t exist! So it was wayyyy legit! We went with Kramer and Trottier! It was way fun! Then we went and visited Sister J. (sweet lady in our ward) her mom who is 91, I have mentioned her before! She is AMAZING! She was in the hospital, so we went to her house when she returned home. Gave her a card, sang Christmas hymns, and left with a prayer! She was so happy, and was crying with so much joy and love! I was beyond touched! :) We love her a lot!!! Anyway! The next day we went to heart attack (woodlands tradition) a family in our ward and it was so fun! We also met with S.S. this week and she on date!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOT!!!!! It was a really good lesson! Gen. (our ward mission leader followed us). We also went on splits with the A-sisters on Thursday! It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I went with sister Tehrani! (my grandma in the mission) and she is the best!!!! Seriously one of my besties in the mission!!! :) We met with P, and had the most spiritual lesson EVER!!!!!! She is the best! She is so excited to pray, and come to know of the truth for herself! and she really is the sweetest girl ever! I love her a lot!!! The spirit was totally working in that lesson! Sis. Zhang met with a L.A. Sister W. (and it went veryyy well) she said she was going to come to church! But on Sunday her youngest son was sick, but next week she will come! YAY! S. is doing well! We are so proud of her! Thank you for all the prayers!!! THEY WORK! We met with AC and she just changes her mind all the time!!! HAHA I love her so much! We taught her about the importance of prayer, and now are hoping she really prays and comes to know for herself the truth of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! :) We had an activity with the YSA we made Christmas cards for missionaries from the woodlands ward in the other parts of the world and our invest. ShaSha came! IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha i loved it! Another invest. that the elders are teaching is name is E. he came also! haha he is a very interesting cat, but we love him! He is so funny! The YSA have really been fellowshipping! I AM SO PROUD OF WOODLANDS WARD!!!!! They are amazing! We had a thanksgiving dinner (THE FOOD WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!!!) I miss American food! BUT! so many people brought friends!!!! I WAS STOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are hoping it's even better at the Christmas dinner :) We also met with Claire, an invest. we haven't met with for a while! She is so sweet! We taught her about prayer, and really praying to know if God is there. We hope she starts trying to progress :) Church was AMAZING!!!!! We talked to the members about missionary work, helped them get to know us a little better, and what they can do to build up the woodlands ward! IT ROCKED!!! I love them all so much! Sadly! a sister in our ward passed away, so we are going to the wake tonight to show our support, and love. We went to brother KD's home for dinner (FILIPINOS ARE THE BESTTTTTTT) seriously I loved the food! IT was amazing! and his kids are the cutest!!!! They are precious! I’ll send some pics!!! I borrowed sis. Tehrani's SD card haha :) anyway!!! F. is struggling, so please pray for her. We are really worried, but are having faith that she will remain strong :) That’s about it!
